"We had a family gathering at Mama Silas for our fathers birthday .The island buffet food was so delicious and fresh with lots of variety .The staff were friendly and a special mention to Mel she was amazing and kind and looked after us all. They were so accommodating and offered to open the restaurant for us during the week which we are so thankful for .I highly recommend Mamas Silas and we will definitely be back again ."

"First time dining here, 7pm sitting, great selection of food, dessert, coffee/tea, well displayed food which was hearty & delicious. The staff were all attentive & friendly, the tables were cleared as people finished eating which was great, the buffet area could accommodate more room for foot traffic, it was reasonably priced per person, overall it was a pleasant & good experience."

"Went here for a family event. I cannot tell you how amazing it is to have an island buffet in the heart of south Auckland. That, in my opinion is top tier and close if not better than valentines and Fortuna. Since being there I have recommended them to family, friend and work colleagues. They seat up to 150 so if you’re wanting to book an event you can do that too. They also do oysters and roast pork on Sundays. Highly recommend! They also have a catering service we used for our wedding back in 2015 so I am so happy I can now dine in store."

"Ordered this evening on uber eats 15 mins before closing (sorry) but I can honestly say the food was absolutely amazing, fresh and just perfect. My family & I were very happy & although I live a little far by the time everything was received it was still nice & warm. Great job guys thank you for the great meal will definitely order again."

"Yummy kai, big tables available, lots of variety. Perfect if you want lots of different dishes at a great price. Price was really reasonable at $39.99. Prawns were fabulous. No oysters were available the day I went but perhaps they do on others like the photos. Regardless of that, it was worth it. I’ll be back!"

"I Highly highly recommend Mama Sila to anyone looking for yummy Pacific Island Food. We had my Father's birthday lunch here, the Food was Hot and Delicious. We had the lovely Mel as our host very friendly and even got her to take our pics for us lol. Thank you to the Chefs for the yummy food, we really enjoyed it. Would definitely be back without my kids tho lol. 10/10"

"First time coming here and it was such a beautiful experience loved the atmosphere especially the gospel music playing front man was good spirited the women working in the kitchen had great service with always clearing the plates on the tables well done ladies I tried everything on the menu to test it all out and everything was hitting there's also dessert I think its a good range not like heaps but it's still a good amount and they also have coffee and tea as well you can make yourself . 9/10 only thing it was to cold in the restaurant need some heaters but anyways thanks god bless"
